On day one of Osheaga, festival attendees were all about being part of one of Canada’s biggest music festivals in recent history. On a sold-out day two, it was all about re-living memories and living in the moment. With the heat being unbearable in the wide open spaces of Parc Jean-Drapeau, listeners and performers took to rioting through artistic expression with alt vets Brand New bringing our high school daze back, The Black Lips jamming out to the point of heat sickness, Young The Giant swoonin’ one of the weekend’s largest crowds and even Harlem MC A$AP Rocky making his Montreal audience pretty fly through impromptu crowd-surfing. Though local songbird Feist had mic problems and Snoop Dogg showing up 45 minutes late, the headliners hit every note with strength. And most importantly, “La, La, La” came on through the speakers to close out the night and Snoop Lion was out of his cage.

Snoop Dogg was late, but put on a wicked show.
